Following the submission by the AOA of various documents to the European Commission ("EC"), the EC has advised the AOA that it hopes to complete its technical assessment of equivalency under EU Directive 2006/43/EC (commonly known as the 8th Directive or the Statutory Audit Directive) by early 2016.
